Growing up, Elizabeth was into Sarah McLaughlin, Alanis Morissette, and alternative rock. While in high school, she was involved in numerous musical and theater productions, further heightening her love of musical theater.
After college (English at Rutgers College), she developed a taste for jazz, including Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and especially Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox. She has been studying with Jane Ericksen, and continues with an unabiding love for music, from symphony to Dr Dre!
Elizabeth bought her first lipstick at the age of 4, and has been honing her make-up artistry on family and friends since childhood. She worked in the beauty industry for several years in her 20s, and she is inspired by transformative looks of Kevyn Aucoin and Laura Mercier, as well as Pat McGrath and Wayne Goss. Her philosophy of beauty is perfecting what is already there, not creating ex nihilo. While she dreams of starting her own line, she is a trend watcher, and she believes vintage glamor is the next big thing. She is available for wedding makeup and photo shoot prep.
